High Density Cooling
In this business, you need to keep your cool.
Five years ago, the average rack required about 2 kW of cooling. That's about the same amount of cooling a small window-mounted air conditioner puts out. Today, vendors are designing servers that can create a demand for ten times that amount of cooling - per rack.
This dramatic rise in server density presents a significant challenge to data centers, and Comfluent has met this challenge head-on. In mid-2005, we completed the expansion of our data center and installed a state-of the art cooling system, designed to keep our data center . and your equipment . from overheating.
Our strategy for cooling high-density racks and servers is to arrange the data center rows with alternating cold and hot aisles, one on each side of the cabinet, and to locate the cooling system directly above the hot aisles - ensuring a maximum airflow without "hot spots." This, combined with our chilled water/glycol platform, allows us to dissipate far more heat per rack than the competition.
To ensure your equipment stays cool, we monitor the data center temperature and equipment functionality 24/7.
